What drives a leading sustainability expert to join a mission in Armenia? For Olga Mochalova, the answer is simple: impact.

With over 15+ years of experience in sustainable development, ESG advisory, and green innovation, Olga Mochalova brings powerful insight and global perspective to the Green Growth Alliance board.

Her journey spans across France, Africa, Russia, and Central Asia — from working on the BREEAM-certified venue for the Sochi Olympics, to advising on green building projects across continents.

“In 2024, when we started speaking with companies, especially with developers, we saw interest. And our idea on Green Growth Alliance was formed,” she says.

Through her work, Olga recognized that sustainability isn’t just about certification — it’s about strategy, investment, law, and long-term thinking. Yet even now, explaining what “sustainability” means in practice can be a challenge.
